Once you’ve transported 25 passengers safely, which doesn’t take too long, a “Budget Increase” menu comes up. This adds a bit of strategy – new line, or upgrade existing line? You can either use railcars to build new lines to connect to more stations, or you can use them to add more trains to existing lines (by default, new lines only have one train). You start out each game with three railcars (each one holds four commuters), one of which is used for the first line. You can connect to new stations either by extending lines (by clicking and dragging from their termini), or by building new ones. As your system grows (the game subtlely zooms out as you go along), new types of stations come up that only appear once – these can be annoying, as it can crowd the line servicing the one station. They’re not picky, so they’ll go to any station so long as it’s the shape they want to go to. The three main ones are circles, triangles, and squares – the circles appear the most, the squares appear the least – and commuters are represented by these shapes, telling you where they want to go. The colors will apparently change depending on what map you’re playing on.īut soon more stations start to pop up. All of the line colors (you can have up to seven) for this map are based on real Tube lines. If you decide to build a circle for the first three stations, you’ll probably end up having to use two of them.Ī simple circle to start out the game. You start out each game with three tunnels, used for crossing the river. The map does look a lot like London, with a geometric Thames running through the middle. The game is currently set in London, but there will be more maps (including New York and Paris), in the full release. As soon as you do, commuters will begin to use your line. You can click and drag with the mouse to build a line between them. Basically, you start out with three stations. It’s currently a free flash game, but it’s been greenlit for Steam (which, for those who don’t know, is essentially an online game store that a lot of people – including myself – use). Mini Metro is a little game I found online.

Professional installation is recommended but not required. Professionally installed tile ranges from $5-$14 per sq ft. (This is not a DIY project!) That does not include the cost of any special type of refinishing, staining, or sealing. Professional installation is required for concrete. Installation of concrete runs $4-$30 per sq ft. If you don't have an existing concrete floor, tile is the less costly option. Is concrete cheaper to install than tile? Also, labor cost for smaller spaces is typically higher per square foot. These costs vary widely as they are dependent on the size of the space and labor costs in your area. Professionally installed tile ranges from $5-$14 per sq ft., making tile less expensive when hiring an installer in many, but not all, cases. so for DIY projects, tile has a significantly lower cost. Most tile is priced between $1 to $5 per sq ft. Feel free to contact us for more information, and to receive a free quotation.Staining a new concrete floor or refinishing an existing one is between $2 and $25 per square foot. Our team at Concas is happy to answer any questions you might have. When you consider these factors, polished concrete floors provide excellent value and may actually prove to be the cheaper option after a few years. Polished concrete floors do need a small bit of maintenance, with a buff and reseal every few years in high traffic areas. Even stone tile floors require waxing to keep them looking their best. Cheaper flooring options require frequent cleaning and can often stain easily. You’ll also want to factor in maintenance costs. This is something you’ll never have to worry about with polished concrete. This can be detrimental to your house and lead to costly repairs. Some types of flooring, such as carpet and hardwood floors, can also harbour mould, mildew, and other allergens. While hardwood floors can deteriorate over time due to humidity and other environmental factors, and micro cement is known for cracking and chipping, polished concrete is virtually impenetrable and will far outlast other options. When it comes to durability and longevity, nothing can really beat polished concrete. They’re also extremely practical and provide a number of benefits that make them a smart choice for a number of different projects. Polished concrete floors offer more than just an attractive aesthetic. And this doesn’t take into account the longterm benefits that polished concrete provides that can actually make it more economical over time. High-end stone tile floorings are another option, but they can cost well over €100 per m2.Īs you can see depending on the job, polished concrete can end up being equal in price and sometimes even cheaper than other similar flooring materials. Microcement is often seen as a cheaper alternative to polished concrete, but it still costs €90 per m2 on average. Hardwood floors cost €65 per m2 on average, but that price can increase depending on the quality of flooring you’re using and the size of the area you’re covering. If you’re looking for hard floors you have a few different options in addition to polished concrete. How Does the Cost Compare with Other Flooring Materials? More grinding means more labour, which inevitably increases the cost per m2. Essentially, this relates to the amount of grinding that will be required to achieve the finish you want. Type of Finishįinally, the type of finish you choose will also affect the price. While this can result in some truly beautiful floors, it will also mean the price per m2 will go up as additional materials will need to be used. While the plain industrial look has become quite popular in recent years, some people prefer to add colour to the floor to compliment the rest of the room or the furniture. As with any other type of flooring, a larger area will result in a higher overall cost, but the more polished concrete you need for your project the less you’ll pay per m2. The wide variation in price is due to a few different factors. The cost of polished concrete floors in Ireland can range anywhere from €60 – €130 per m2. It also offers several advantages that make it a more cost-effective choice in the long run. But how expensive are they compared to other types of flooring and do they deliver a similar level of value?Īs you’ll find out, given the various benefits that polished concrete provides it compares very favourably in price to other similar floor materials. Polished concrete floors are durable, attractive, and great for a wide range of applications. Back Are Polished Concrete Floors Expensive? The front-wheel-drive Trax rides about a half an inch lower than the all-wheel-drive version. Blame the six-speed automatics gear ratios for this, which are focused on returning increased city fuel efficiency. Full-throttle sprints between 60 and 75 mph require planning. Above 3,500 rpm, the 1.4-liter engine is a noisy travel companion-and it doesn't make up for that screaming with much additional gumption. Still, the same engine characteristics that make the Trax great around town also contribute to it not being the best freeway cruiser. The Trax wears an exterior and interior design that's straightforward, practical, and probably well suited to its class and intended use, but would it have killed GM's designers and beancounters to take a few more risks? Shelling out for the top-trim LTZ brings nicer two-tone vinyl upholstery and console parts covered in patterned trim. That instrument panel sees a 3.5-inch monochrome screen, which displays a numeric speedometer along with vital vehicle details and warning lights, placed beside a tachometer situated to its left.Ĭhevrolet's designers used black upholstery on Trax base models, but it's visually broken up with blue contrast stitching to relieve the effort of potential grimness. However, the LS model does get body-colored pieces for its mirrors and rear license-plate surround.Ĭhevrolet's corporate "twin cockpit" interior styling makes an appearance in the Trax, though with a more utilitarian, practical, upright configuration and gauges almost identical to the Sonic. Further pushing the budget look on base models are a lack of brightwork along its sides and the absence of roof rails, the latter of which are standard equipment on all other trims. Buyers looking for bigger, more expensive wheels will need to go to LT and LTZ models, which feature 16- and 18-inch alloys, respectively. As the base LS model is for budget-conscious buyers, it wears some fairly sensible footwear in the form of steel wheels with plastic wheel covers. There’s no need to give your cat/kitten milk if they’re fed a complete, balanced diet. We enjoy our food!Īlways have plenty of fresh water available and don’t be surprised if your Bengal wants to play with it! A lot of cats don’t like to have water right next to their food so if you can have it in different place (ideally in two or even three places if you have more than one cat), that’s better.Ī lot of Bengals will enjoy drinking from unusual places such as taps/faucets and even the bath tub or shower when you’re in there! A drinking fountain is ideal if you can accommodate one, the fresh flowing water encourages many cats to drink which is always a good thing. You should add small amounts of the new food into the old, gradually increasing the amount of new and decreasing the old in order to minimise possible problems and allow your kitty’s tummy to adjust. You can change their diet over time if you wish to do so, but this shouldn’t happen until the kitten/cat is completely settled into their new home, and it should take place very gradually. It’s important that you feed your kitty the same food that’s been used by the breeder or previous owner, as sudden changes in diet can lead to upset tummies. Don’t forget that it will be quite a daunting experience both for kittens and older cats, so the more you can prepare in advance, the better all round □ Food/Drink You’re all ready to bring your new fur baby home! Here’s a few things you’ll need to consider to help them to settle into your home as quickly as possible. Another proposed hypothesis that is gaining more attention is that pica for non-nutritive substances offers protection from harmful toxins during the most vulnerable stages of human cell replication and embryogenesis (childhood and pregnancy). This suggests that the idea that these cravings stem from a need for serum iron is an inadequate pathophysiological explanation for this phenomenon. Despite this, studies conducted on substances consumed by pica patients failed to show increased iron bioavailability among these substances. Many population-based studies have found a low level of serum iron/ferritin (and other micronutrients) among patients with pica. Iron deficiency anemia has also been implicated. Studies of psychological factors have reported an association between pica and stress, child neglect and abuse, and maternal deprivation. Many factors have been implicated in the etiology of pica however, no direct causality has been established. It is not unusual to notice that younger children are frequently eating nonnutritive substances. It is important to understand that in order to diagnose pica, the individual must be at least 2 years of age. Pica usually occurs as an isolated disorder but there are instances when it may co-exist with schizophrenia, OCD, and trichotillomania. In some parts of the world, the consumption of non-nutritive substances is culturally accepted. In women, it is most often seen during pregnancy. Īlthough pica is seen in children, it is also a common eating disorder in patients who are intellectually impaired. The nature of ingested items is variable, including but not limited to earth (geophagy), raw starches (amylophagy), ice (pagophagia), charcoal, ash, paper, chalk, cloth, baby powder, coffee grounds, and eggshells. For diagnosis, the behavior must persist for at least one month, not be in keeping with the child's developmental stage (and age cut off of 24 months or more is suggested by DSM V), and not be socially normative or culturally acceptable behavior. The term is derived from "pica-pica," the Latin word for the magpie bird, because of the bird's indiscriminate gathering and eating a variety of objects for the sake of curiosity. The American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) defines pica as eating nonnutritive, nonfood substances over a period of at least one month. The controls for all the more complex machines are really tiresome. The put-on (unrealistic) puzzles are nothing but a hassle. The German translation is a joke btw, totally unusable. Sounds are mostly crap, for example engine noises are way too weak (missing bass) or hydraulics noises painfully loud with headphones. It wants to be a sim, but apart from the controls it's rather arcady. The only pro in my opinion are the perfectly desigened machines. I cannot recommend this game, no matter at what price. This game is extremely worth it below $20. It is a good time, but keep in mind, it is NOT a AAA title, and can be expected to play like it. While i do say this game is a yes - i was so excited to play giant machines, i loved doing that kind of work in real life - the controls were not perfect, nor intuitive in some cases, in game. My regular xbox one controller will sometimes stop working in the menus and i have to leave my couch to go to the keyboard and fix it with the mouse (even tho i have controller companion). Also modifying the controls does not always work, and general gamepad support is very poor. WHAT? what game on EARTH is the movement stick a controllable sensetivity. If you turn down gamepad sensetivity, it also reduces the sensetivity of the left anolog stick. In the settings, you can't much modify the sensetivity of the controls. There are sometimes texture clips when the side of a mountain flashes in and out of existance.ĭirection arrows/goal directions sometime's dissapear.Īnd in my opinion the worst part about this game is the controls. While everything works well and is mostly a quite enjoyable experience, there are somethings like in any game that don't work - have bugs, etc. It is very annoying, please allow this option to be turned off or use our own music. I like how the terrain deformation works, the speed and weight of the vehicles is felt, and everything sounds decently accurate - EXCEPT the radio. It works well, mostly, and does well on simulating the massive equipment you use, close to feel that you'd get from a real life equivalent. The game is a lot of fun (writing this with an hour of play on my account but have roughly 6 from another account). I am recommending this game BUT, with a few reservations! As she walks into the concert hall, she smiles in amazement at the stage. She is later seen buying glow sticks from a booth with the Zwei Wing logo on them. Miku is unable to make it and Hibiki exclaims in surprise as Miku had invited her. Flashback to two years ago and Hibiki is seen standing in front of a stadium that Zwei Wing's concert is to take place while on the phone with Miku. She is presumed to be dead as Miku is visiting her grave. Hibiki is first seen in Episode 1 as picture in front of a grave. When she becomes really angry, she sometimes enters a state of frenzy. However, since it was only a fragment, she possesses less armor compared to the original and has no weapons or Armed Gear, but she is able to defeat most Noise with her fists. Years later, when she becomes cornered by the Noise, she sings the same song she heard Kanade sing and ends up gaining Symphogear powers due to a fragment of Kanade's armor that entered her body that distant day: a fragment of The Third Relic - Gungnir. Two years ago, while attending a Zwei Wing concert, she was nearly killed by the Noise, barely surviving thanks to the sacrifice of Kanade, who taught her never to accept death. She can also make a bad habit of running away from her problems and bouts of self-doubt. This can hinder Hibiki when in battle, as she allows her emotions to get the better of her. The only person that can normally tell she's putting on a facade is Miku. In this regard, she forces herself to keep a smile for others. She also has a softer side, frequently hides her feelings about specific things and rarely shows herself being sad to anyone whenever it's a problem related to herself, even her friends, but can also be touched and easily cry if hearing sad stories. At other times, she is sensitive about certain topics - her father and her past, especially the past being two of them. Otherwise, she gladly dons her Symphogear in order to help people who are in danger that otherwise can't be used by ordinary means. She doesn't want to fight unless she necessarily has to and wouldn't want to have pointless battles when she believes the problem could be talked about calmly first. She treats everyone with kindness, even those that used to be enemies. Hibiki is outgoing, friendly, and perhaps overwhelmingly optimistic. She has a pair of denim shorts with white & black shoes and red socks. In AXZ, Hibiki wears a white & yellow top with short white & gold striped sleeves and black shoulder straps. In GX, Hibiki wears a white & light blue striped, off-the-shoulder top with yellow overall shorts with a large blue bow and a pair of white & orange shoes. She also wears a pair of light brown boots with deep blue kneesocks. In G, Hibiki wears a beige vest with an orange sweater and a brown pleated skirt with a white petticoat. Hibiki has a scar on her chest in the shape of a 'forte' from when Kanade's Gungnir fragment pierced her chest on the day of the Zwei Wing concert. She is most often seen wearing the uniform of Lydian Music Academy. Hibiki has orange eyes with short light brown hair fastened with two red clips on either side of her head. According to Agematsu, "Tachibana" is derived from the Agematsu family crest, which is written with the kanji "橘", meaning "mandarin orange". Tachibana ( 立花, Tachibana ?) means "standing flower". Additionally, he wished to use "響" as a name for a potential child of his (read as "Hibiki" for a girl, or "Kyō" for a boy), and was delighted when his co-writer, Akifumi Kaneko, decided to adopt the name. According to series co-creator Noriyasu Agematsu, he selected this name because he considers "響" to be the most important concept in music writing. Used as a verb, it can mean "to resound/resonate". Hibiki ( 響, Hibiki ?) - The term hibiki means "a sound", "a ring", or "an echo". |
